but first, i was awarded with not one but two awards from two fabulous ladies, kristen sara and SG. thanks dolls! both awards require divulging information about yourself. luckily an incident, well actually more like a realization, occurred this past weekend that allows me to open up about a few things. so here we go...
1. i am a jenkyl and hyde when it comes to my confidence. sometimes i'm all about it bout it, loving myself, not needing to be, act or look like anyone else and during those days, i am the cat’s pajamas or the bee's knees, as some would say….that is until my distaste for my arms, legs, stomach, nose, head, face, hands, hair, height (do you want me to continue?) takes over and i turn into an insecure little monkey. i hate it.
2. i don’t consider myself a tomboy at all but i do enjoy the same things as boys…for one, beer. just ask my belly.
3. people who take me too seriously are not worth my friendship. k i know that sounds rude and off putting but really it’s true. i am a very honest, blunt, sarcastic person who likes to joke around a lot. not everyone gets me especially people who don’t know me well. they can’t always handle all that and therefore take me way too seriously. i figure, if i can’t be myself then what’s the point of being friends, right?
4. i’ve said this before and i will say it again, i am HUGE on first impressions. if our first meeting does not go well, then i’m 98% certain that we will not be friends. i’m a tough cookie when it comes to friendship, mainly because i’ve been hurt more by girls than guys. sad yes…but you live and you learn. that's not to say that i'm one of those "i have more guy friends than girls" because truly i love ladies and hello i have a million girl crushes.
5. if this info hasn't scared you by now then you’d be happy to know that i am very loyal to my good friends, family and lovers…er lover, i only have one. it's true. i got yo back!
6. i believe i’m supposed to list 7-10 things but i break rules. that’s how i roll.
so what was the incident/realization that occurred? well i won't go into details but basically someone took me way too serious on something i wrote on facebook (i know LAME!) and has made a big deal out of nothing. that's all i will say. oh and...

Second off, I can TOTALLY relate to the honesty/sarcasm thing. Sometimes I'm way too honest for my own good and have been known to hurt a feeling or two unintentionally. But I've also learned that it's your true friends who will understand and forgive you.
Third off people who get pissed over facebook postings = tres lame.
I agree...anyone who can't put up with the real me...be it a little sarcastic and honest at times....doesn't need to be my friend. I don't want to watch what I say or how I act around someone who clearly needs to be coddled. Love me or leave me. Oh. And let's not even mention the FB drama. Please. People are dumb.

Good girls are hard to find. SO HARD. I've been burned by the girls more times than I'd like to admit...which is why I treasure the friendships I do have, yours being one of them. Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka is AH-MAZ-ING (if you like Sweet Tea of course). You can either just add water to it or mix it with Lemonade which is my personal fav. I got drunk of that shit with my future mother in law and told her my entire life story. It's now my go-to drink when I feel like getting hammered b/c it goes down so smooth :-)

2. I agree with you on everything! I am a confidence flip-flopper all the way! AND I hate most girl simply because I am so sarcastic and brash sometimes that they don't get it. And the only people that ever truly broke my heart were girl. Guys are so easy to handle AND get over. It is the broken friendships that hurt me and the bad taste lingers for years.

1. I think everyone goes through that every now and again. I hate it too and have always been envious of people that seem to embrace everything about themselves. But to me, you're perfect just as you are. Non-creepy, non-stalker love here, mkay?
3. Definitely agree, if you can't be yourself, how can you be "friends"? If you fake it, then they're friends with some random gimp who isn't really you.
